What is Prosidium Lifetime Repair Care?
Unexpected vehicle repairs can be stressful and expensive. In fact, the average repair bill can range from $500 to $2,000 per visit, with major components costing even more.
That’s why we include Prosidium Lifetime Repair Care (PLRC) with qualifying repairs at no extra cost to you. If a covered part ever fails again, PLRC ensures it’s replaced quickly and easily, helping you avoid surprise expenses down the road.
Think of PLRC as a program that protects your repairs from future failures.
FAQs
Simply take your vehicle back to your selling dealership (or to any licensed repair facility) and mention lifetime repair care coverage. If your covered part has failed, the service department can call us at (844) 214-4121 or email us at claims@pwcteam.com to file a claim.
Absolutely! Dealerships that choose to offer Lifetime Repair Care have made a commitment to you, as a customer, that they stand behind their work. Parts can fail again for many reasons, and they want to ensure you have lifetime coverage for covered repairs.
Service departments that offer Prosidium Lifetime Repair Care cover the cost of both labor AND parts, should the covered parts on your contract fail again.
To verify what parts on your repair order were covered, look for “LIFETIME REPAIR CARE” under each part and labor line item found on the service department-paid customer repair order invoice.
PLRC covers customers in two ways. Firstly, parts can become harder to find or need to be rushed in at a higher cost. Regardless of the situation, we will cover the cost of your replacement part. Secondly, labor has increased by roughly 10% annually, and this opportunity allows you to lock in at a fraction of todays labor cost.
Your part is covered for labor and replacement costs for as long as you own the vehicle.
We always recommend you return to your dealer who serviced your vehicle and provided you Prosidium Lifetime Repair Care coverage. Not only do dealerships have the latest equipment, they also understand your vehicle and have service technicians trained to work specifically with your vehicle.
If your vehicle has a breakdown and cannot be seen by your selling dealer, you can take it to any licensed ASE certified repair shop. Just ask your service advisor whether they’re a licensed repair facility, and if so, have them call us at (360) 848-7922 to take care of the rest.
